Idre Fjäll hits 25 %on-line
sales with Citybreak™
Idre Fjäll has since it started in 1968 grown into an international holiday resort during both summer and wintertime. With a accommodation capacity of more than 6000 beds and a great selection of outdoor activities in one and the same mountain resort. Since the implementation of Citybreak™ on-line in 2002, Idre Fjäll has now reached 25% of their reservations from the on-line web shop, www.idrefjall.com. The web shop offers booking of not only accommodation but also ski school, ski passes and ski rentals.
New Director of Sales and Marketing at Visit
Joakim Stjernström is responsible for international sales and marketing issues within the Visit Technology Group. Within this role, he will be instrumental in determining future marketing strategy, press and public relations and exhibition presence. In addition, he will head up the sales team and manage their activities. Joakim has joined Visit after six years working in professional sales, marketing and business development at Hoist Hospitality Group. Prior to his time at Hoist, Joakim founded HotSoft International, one of the leading Hotel Management System suppliers in Europe.

Citybreak™ uses .Net technology to help destinations build more effective relationships with visitors, suppliers and industry partners.Citybreak™ is an internet based travel technology solution developed by the Visit Technology Group.

SCR Camping & Cottages
SCR (Swedish Camping- & Cottage National Association) has signed an agreement with Visit Technology Group to implement Citybreak. SCR has a selection of 600 campsites, 12,000 cottages and will offer online reservation on the campsite and cottages web portal.
